Detalii despre noul album PJ Harvey

La trei ani dupa albumul din 2004 (Uh Huh Her) Polly Jean Harvey anunta un nou material pentru data de 24 septembrie 2007, care se va numi White Chalk.

Producatorii noului album sunt John Parish si Flood, cu care a colaborat si la To Bring You My Love (1995) si la Is This Desire? (1998). Printre colaboratori se numara Eric Drew Feldman (Captain Beefheart) si Jim White (basistul trupei Dirty Three).

Iron & Wine este pseudonimul lui Sam Beam. Canta indie-folk, progresiv-folk, alternativ-country. Apartine de casa de discuri SubPop alaturi de The Shins sau The Postal Service. Cover-ul dupa Such Great Heights al celor de la The Postal Service, inclus pe coloana sonora a filmului Garden State (coloana sonora ce a castigat Grammy), a fost cel care le-a adus popularitatea.
Shepherd’s Dog apare in septembrie 2007.

Interpol - Our Love To Admire (2007)

Interpol, trupa americana infiintata in 1998, se afla la al treilea album, Our Love To Admire, dupa Turn On The Bright Lights si genialul Antics. Au fost deseori comparati cu Joy Division. Noul album (in magazine din 09.07 in UK, 10.07 in US) este mai melodic si mai diversificat decat anterioarele, primul pe care apare keyboard-ul si primul inregistrat in New York (orasul de origine al trupei)
